RoRally Marathon

About this event

RoRally Marathon is a competitive rally raid held on 10–18 July in eastern Romania, based in Râmnicu Sărat and organised under the Romanian Motorcycling Federation. Described by the federation as the most important event on its competition calendar, it combines all three national rally raid rounds into a single event and also counts toward the European Rally Raid Championship. After arrival and technical checks on 10 July and a prologue and Rally Show on 11 July, the competition stages run from 12–18 July across the counties of Buzău, Vrancea, Galați, Brăila, Bacău, and Ialomița. Riders cover more than 2,000 km, including hundreds of kilometres of special stages on gravel roads and off-road sectors that test riding skill, navigation, and endurance. A highlight is the marathon stage on 14 July, finishing at a bivouac in Făurei where, under FIM rules, riders spend the night with limited assistance on their machines.
