Swank Rally Di Sardegna
About this event
The Swank Rally di Sardegna is an off-road rally held on 29 September – 3 October across Sardinia, organised by Adventure Riding and Deus Ex Machina. Now in its eighth edition, the event revives the historic Rally di Sardegna first run in 1984, with checks and a night-time prologue at the Malpensa motocross track before stages of around 230–280 km through sand, mud, rocks, forests, and nature parks on the island. Riders can enter the competitive Rally category, which runs timed special stages with rankings and mandatory roadbook navigation, or the non-competitive Experience category, which follows the same routes, or simplified variants, using either a roadbook or GPX track. Open to vintage, modern, and twin-cylinder bikes; foreign participants require FMI membership and a medical certificate.
