Monterra ADV Raid

About this event

The Monterra ADV Raid is a non-competitive off-road adventure raid through the Balkans, organised by Rally Raid Adventures, held on 5–12 September. The event is designed specifically for large ADV motorcycles over 160 kg and is aimed at riders with sufficient off-road experience. Over six riding days, participants cover roughly 1,000–1,200 km on a mix of mountain roads, gravel tracks, and forest and meadow trails with some selective sections. Start and finish are near Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a second base hotel in Kolašin, Montenegro, for star-route stages. Navigation is by GPS track supplied as a GPX file about a week before the start; there is no roadbook, though riders can optionally follow a certified guide in small groups. The all-inclusive setup covers hotels, luggage transport, GPS tracking, and a 4×4 rescue team with a moto-medic. A Fly & Ride package with a rental bike is available. Capped at 50 participants.
